my last morning

Tomorrow will be my last morning waking up beneath this sunny little window.

Today was my final exam.
Over the past few weeks we've had two three-hour written exams.
Today, though, we were all talk.
Two rooms, two hours, lots of questions and discussion and
giddy up!
I'm all done!!

When I got home,
this little guy was so psyched for me
that he tried to share his strawberry. Bless.
(Okay, not really.)

But this little guy did indeed sing tweedle dee in honor of the day for me.

Old rabbit, however, was not amused.

feathers

Weekend before last I went and learned
all about backyard chickens.
Yes, I've come to a big city to learn about farm times.
Perfectly logical.

Actually, it is.
I learned all about how to build a coop in your own back yard
and how to bribe your neighbors with eggs. (just don't hand them one while it's still warm...) Who knew a good looking hen like the one below costs only $2.50 when it's still a chick or $10 when she's big and pretty like this? Judging by my count - $4.50/doz for the good eggs and even though this guy says you'll be hard pressed to raise your own for less,
I think I just might jump on the bandwagon!

He was passing her around for people to love on,
but I have to say, I'm still building up the courage.
And considering peck proof gloves.....

flowers & mommas

My Momma sent me flowers.
She sent me flowers in honor of
my 3rd (and final ??) graduation
from a Montessori training program.

There were so many of them that we are able to
enjoy them on the dining room table AND out on the back deck.

Thank you, Mom!

Speaking of Moms, here is a perfect little story for today:

The end.
Happy Mother's Day!

what city am I in again??

I was on my way home yesterday when this lovely image passed in front of me.
